Social media was another area in which we developed templates for increased production and efficiency. We developed templates in Canva for our social media stakeholders to use, as well as typographic templates in After Effects for the shreditor to apply to reels/videos. We were able to strike a balance between Morning Consult branded Canva templates and custom images that we produced for marketing campaigns and tentpole report promotion. This process allowed our social media team to develop far more content than would have been possible with a fully custom design approach.
